Golf Etiquette
1.
Don't move, talk or stand close to
or directly behind a player making a
stroke.
2.
Don't play until the group in front
is out of range.
3.
Always play without delay.
Leave the putting green as soon as
all players in your group have holed
out.
4.
If you lose a hole (i.e. there is a
hole clear between you, and the
group in front),
or if you are searching for a lost
ball, invite the group behind to
play through.
5.
Replace divots - repair pitch marks
on the green, even if they are not
your own.
Smooth out footprints in bunkers
(after you have played the ball
out).
6.
Don't step on the line of another
player's putt.
7.
Don't drop clubs on the putting
green.
8.
Replace the flagstick carefully in
an upright position.
9.
After you have holed out remove the
ball from the cup with your hand.
Do not use your putter head as this
may damage the edge of the hole.
10.
Leave the course in the condition
you would like to find it in.
