Welcome to Barkway Park Golf Club
Hidden
away in North Hertfordshire, this little known golf
club - not a bad thing we assure you - is a true gem
and a course you’ll want to tell your friends about
because you'll want to play it again and again.
The course
designed by Vivian Saunders in 1992 and at 6609 yards
(yellow tees), and par 74, offers a firm but fair
challenge for golfers of all abilities.
We pride ourselves on being the friendliest club in
Herts and Cambs – and there is always a warm welcome
(and a bit of banter) in the bar to help you relax
before and after a round!
The course
could best be described as an 'Inland Links'
and it’s location in one of the highest parts of the
county means wind is usually a factor.
You'll do very well to keep a good score if the
wind blows like it can!
